POP UP PLAY
To develop an alternative design (products, services and strategy) for McDonald’s Happy Meal toys that will reduce waste, plastic usage and have a longer useful life.
Initial Sketches



This project required a large amount of initial research in order to identify the wants needs of the child and create something that would really engage them.
​
Pop Up Play is an educational, sustainable and plastic free alternative to current Happy Meal Toys. It promotes learning in a fun and playful way whilst aiding development of fine motor skills.
​
This was an industry project/ competition set by The Marketing Store (TMS). Pop Up Play was given 1st place and received a prize.
